Our story starts almost 20 years ago in IRC chat rooms and GitHub repos.
Our founders started working together on WooCommerce plugins in 2011. We quickly expanded into Shopify in 2012, building several top-rated apps back when there were only a couple hundred apps in the app store! Our company grew to serve over 100k merchants with our 60+ apps.
Our team developed deep expertise in memberships, subscriptions, and email marketing. Our first company was acquired in 2020, and our team + apps joined the acquirer to lead their efforts in building ecommerce apps, plugins, and platforms.
When we decided to start a new venture, we wanted to bring the membership & subscription tools (and expertise!) we’ve honed to Shopify sellers. Brands can drastically accelerate growth by offering memberships (especially selling special access as a digital product or subscription), and we’re excited to be a part of that journey.
