An unusually credible team
The safest WooCommerce to Shopify migration
We are actual experts in both platforms, and especially in how memberships + subscriptions work for each.
Since 2011. Really.
Real talk: we’ve built apps with Woo since 2011, Shopify since 2012.
80+ Woo extensions • Top partner • Core contributor • 110k+ users
9 Shopify apps. • Avg 4.8 star rating • Over 40k users

Membership experts
We built WooCommerce Memberships, powering 30k+ membership sites. We contributed heavily to WooCommerce Subscriptions, too. (Since 2012)
Also, we built Zendra. 🙂 We deeply understand membership sites & subscriptions, using either platform.

We stay current.
We run Zendra & Fileflare for Shopify, along with a suite of Woo plugins. We still contribute to WooCommerce core, and we’re deeply integrated into the Shopify ecosystem.
We’re highly knowledgeable, and on the cutting edge of ecommerce.

Ours is a rare confluence of experience. Most teams understand one platform. We’ve built top-quality, highly popular products for both — for more than 150,000 stores like yours.
Moving from WooCommerce to Shopify
Each platform has its strengths & weaknesses. By moving your store to Shopify, we can help with:
Maintenance overhead
Say goodbye to plugin maintenance fatigue.
No more performance troubleshooting with your web host.
So long to handling scaling challenges yourself.
Shopify gives you world-class infrastructure by default.
Checkout friction
Shopify provides fast, high-converting, and frictionless checkout with built-in fraud protection. Enable Shop Pay to drastically streamline payments.
(Sticking with Woo? We built CheckoutWC to solve this, too!)
Omnichannel sales
Enable new sales channels with a couple clicks. Benefit from emerging channels like agentic commerce.
More ecommerce tools
Ecommerce focus means more native tools: better analytics, COGS tracking, customer segments, & more.
Rapid improvement
Shopify ships new features quickly — and the developer tools get better and better.
Custom content
Metafields & metaobjects help to safely customize your storefront.
Ecommerce themes
A robust ecosystem of beautiful, shopping-focused themes.
Automations
Shopify Flow is a powerful free engine for automations & integrations
Analytics
Shopify Analytics gives you key insight into visitors and conversions
What we can migrate
When we re-platform WooCommerce to Shopify, we migrate 360° of online presence.
Your site
Key content
The “WordPress” part of your site needs to move to Shopify:
- pages
- blog posts
- navigation
- users
- custom content types
Your store
Commerce core
The “WooCommerce” part goes, too:
- customers
- orders
- products & variants
- product images
- collections / categories
- discount codes
Your extensions
Unique features
We can also migrate or recreate:
- product reviews
- saved payment methods
- subscriptions
- memberships
- loyalty programs
We usually refresh your theme, too.
Your uptime
Clean data cutover
Most stores switch with little or no downtime:
- URL redirects
- final “true up” of new orders or customers
- DNS swap
- preserve old data backup

Your SEO
Structure & content
We work hard to retain SEO value:
- product URL mapping
- preserve page structure
- blog migration
- structured data
- sitemap updates & resubmission
Site audit
Audit your Woo site to make a plan on what we move vs what we rebuild.
Prepare Shopify
Create new data, refresh your storefront, install new apps.
Data migration
Move content, commerce, and extra data from one system to the next.
Test & launch
Confirm accuracy, true up data to cut over, and launch with minimal downtime.
By the time we finish the process, Zendra replaces a patchwork of Woo plugins with a native Shopify membership system.

No — customer accounts and order history can be migrated to Shopify. Login can be updated to use login links instead of a password.
That’s what Zendra is for! We can map membership data from WooCommerce Memberships or Constellation into Zendra automatically. Some settings can’t be 100% replicated, but Zendra gives you more perks & control over your member benefits — so we can often upgrade your program in the migration.
If you use Stripe (including Woo Payments), Braintree, Authorize.Net, or PayPal Express, we can move your tokenized payment methods from WooCommerce to Shopify, and attach them to migrated customer accounts.
If you use a supported payment gateway (Stripe, Woo Payments, Authorize.Net, Braintree, PayPal Express), your subscriptions can often migrate without interrupting your billing schedule.
Zendra supports many of the features in WooCommerce Subscriptions, but not all (and it has some extra features, too!). Our audit & consult will help us map what can move seamlessly to Shopify, and what we’ll adjust or recreate.
Both WordPress and Shopify have excellent SEO built into the platform. We will preserve metadata and structured data, and add appropriate redirects to prevent this.
This depends entirely on your store! Most stores can be migrated from a few days to a few weeks, depending on complexity and what plugins you use. Our goal isn’t the fastest migration; it’s the most complete and seamless migration. So, we may take a little extra time to ensure we do the best job possible.
We know, we know: “it depends” is not what you want to see here. Unfortunately, it’s true: your store is as unique as your brand, so it’s not really possible for us to give you a concrete price before we complete our audit.
Most migrations cost between $3,000 (simple stores) to $40,000 (complex stores) — but some multi-week projects have been more expensive. We will take a $600 deposit when we start an audit, and you’ll get a detailed plan on how to migrate, what to keep, and what we’ll rebuild in the detailed quote, so the price you’re paying (and what outcome you’ll get!) is clear before we start.
Hey, you asked it, not us! In all seriousness: our founders created SkyVerge, the top WooCommerce developer in 2011. We also created Shopstorm in 2012 (a suite of Shopify apps), and Jilt, a Woo + Shopify email marketing app tailored to ecommerce. Shopstorm was acquired in 2018, and SkyVerge + Jilt in 2020 by GoDaddy. We continued to work on WooCommerce & ecommerce inside GoDaddy.
We started a new company together in 2024, and jumped right back into WooCommerce and Shopify app & plugin development.
Most migration services or agencies know Shopify. Few understand WooCommerce deeply. We have built extensively inside both ecosystems. How many other teams can say that?

How projects work
Each project is different, but we have a tried and true formula that our clients love. We don’t think it’s worth it to skip an audit to “save” time, since our goal is delivering a great outcome. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
What to expect
We’ll work collaboratively with you throughout the whole project. No surprises at launch — we want to make sure your store looks great, it showcases the brand you’ve worked hard to build, and it delights your customers.
