There are 5 main types of perks in Zendra:

Access dripping
Content and product protections have a special concept called access dripping. This means that you can provide access immediately once a membership starts. However, you may want to keep members engaged over time — dripping access is a great way to do so!
You can instead delay access to pages, articles, courses, products, and more until a member has been signed up for a length of time. This is a great way to make sure that content is excluded from free trials, for example, or to ensure that members must have been around for long enough to get the best perks.
Perk expiration
If you sell a subscription, members have access to their perks for the entirety of the subscription, while it’s active.
If you offer one-time purchases, you can limit perk access. By default, perks are lifetime. However, you can limit them to a set timeline, such as one year.
Integration perks
Integration perks connect your membership program to external services. When a member is active on a plan with an integration perk, Zendra automatically grants access in the connected service — and revokes it when the membership ends.
Discord access is the first integration perk, available on the Growth plan. It assigns Discord server roles to active members, which you can use to gate channels, permissions, and other server features. See Discord for full setup and configuration details.
Integration perks appear in the Integrations section on the plan edit page, separate from other perk types.
Email notifications
Zendra sends email notifications to members for events like upcoming renewals, payment failures, and successful payments. These emails automatically include relevant details like the renewal amount and date. For subscriptions, emails will also show the member’s payment method on file (e.g., “Visa ending in 4242“) so they know which card will be charged.
You can customize email templates from Settings > Notifications using Liquid variables. Our team is happy to help you customize these to reflect your brand!
