Merchandising is how you sell a membership on your storefront — the purchase widget on the product page, the benefits you list, and the buying options you present. Good merchandising turns a plan into something customers actually want to join.

When you’d use this

  • Show a membership or subscribe option on a product page.
  • Explain the perks at the moment a customer is deciding.
  • Offer a one-time purchase alongside a subscription.

How it works

  • Membership purchase widget — a theme app block you drop onto product pages, showing billing options, benefits, and a subscribe button. No custom code.
  • Configurable benefits text — write the rich-text benefits shown in the widget to sell the value of joining.
  • One-time purchase option — optionally show a “buy once” choice alongside subscription options for products that support both.
  • Subscription policy link — include a link to your subscription policy in the widget for transparency.

Writing benefits that convert

Lead with the outcome a member gets, list two or three concrete perks rather than a long stack, and keep the copy short — the widget is a decision aid, not a brochure.

Common issues

  • The widget isn’t showing. Add the Zendra app block to the product template in the theme editor — see Zendra app blocks & widgets.
  • The benefits area is empty. Add your benefits text in the widget settings; it doesn’t populate automatically.
